ThermoPlus® is a specific product dedicated to help the animal fight against heat stress and improve economic and zootechnical performance.
The CCPA Group offers ThermoPlus for incorporation into compound feed as well as Delta® ThermoPlus®, a nutritional speciality to be directly integrated into the basic ration, via its subsidiary Deltavit.
ThermoPlus is made up of a specific blend of plant extracts that promotes the ingestion of dry matter. In addition, its active components stimulate the activity of key enzymes that contribute to the digestibility of the ration (amylase, lipase, trypsin and chymotrypsin).
The management of the mineral fraction through the use of ThermoPlus (BACA, buffers) also contributes to increased feed intake. Electrolyte intake helps to compensate for heat stress losses through urine and perspiration.
Selected spices increase saliva production and buffering capacity, thus reducing the risk of ruminal acidosis. ThermoPlus also uses capsaicin, naturally present in chillies, which helps regulate the general metabolism, reducing respiratory distress and body temperature in animals. This visual phenomenon reflects better comfort for the animals.
